I received my B.Tech. degree in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from Anna University, India in 2005, M.S in Chemical engineering (2008) from POSTECH and PhD degree (2013) in Advanced Technology Fusion from Konkuk University in Korea. In my PhD, I worked in the experimental synthesis of ternary metal oxide (Zn2SnO4) nanoparticles for their application as photoanodes in dye sensitized solar cells.

In 2013, I moved to Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL), and was working as a postdoc at the XANES/EXAFS beamline and then later moved to Chonbuk National University and was working on “Development of highly efficient hybrid/heterojunction photoanode materials and its environmental and energy applications. Basically my research was focused on doping and nanostructuring of hematite (α-Fe2O3) photoanodes for PEC water splitting application. My research field also includes dye-sensitized solar cells, photocatalysis, water splitting, artificial photo-synthesis, and energy related applications.
