In 2009 I moved from Falun up to the north of Sweden to study physics. I have always been interested in all kind of science but physics has been number one.

I got my civil engineering degree in technical physics in 2015 and my master thesis was in the Nano for Energy group where I worked with carbon nanotubes. I am currently a stipend and going to continue working with my thesis subject for 3 months. My aim is to make a catalyst made by composite nanoparticle materials of MoS2 and nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) from the electrolysis of water. I am also doing some DFT simulations for better understanding of the theory at the nano scale.

Umeå has really nice, snowy winters that offer a lot of skiing, which was appealing to me when I moved here. Besides cross-country skiing, I’m also doing other activities like volleyball, badminton, soccer, disc golf etc. during the days.
